Well Malcolm does like a Finn and seems pretty patient with his drivers. I’d take Lappi over Suninen for sure given the choice.

Why would they do that?! It’s a hideous enough car as it is before presenting it in gravel spec too.

The drivers’ title has more recognition than the manufacturers and AFAIK there is no prize money for manufacturers championship position like there is in F1.

Meeke already won there last year but that still doesn't change that it seeems to be the least competitive car overall.

Lappi would be nuts to leave Toyota for Citroen (who’d of thought we’d be saying that two years ago).. but it might drive his price up.

Problem for Citroen is their car is currently the least desirable for any driver, and I don't really see anyone in WRC just going somewhere for the cash.

Mads is an appropriate solution for the remainder of this year, maybe next year as no.2 or no.3.. but for next year they need a number one. I don't think Craig is at that level yet.

Citroen will surely go at end of the year. I can't see anyone who is good enough to win wanting to move to that team and drive that car.

Maybe MSport are 'full up' for Sweden with Suninen joining in? Or at least have three cars there already so won't subsidise one for Mads?

As i've said before I think he was moved into the World Rally Car too quickly, and he's still young so I hope this move can reboot his career.

It could go either way. If Citroen have a better 2018 perhaps they will commit properly to 2019.

One or two events plus testing seems like a good idea for Loeb if Ogier stays at M-Sport, otherwise I don't see the point really.

Could have been two if it hadn't blown up in Corsica too.

So Meeke crashed again.. if Mikelssen had actually been good this weekend then Meeke should have been worried, but it seems Citroen's problems extend way beyond just Meeke crashing too much.
