I've just done Col de Jan recce today. It's definitely the key stage of the rally, mainly first 8-10 kilometres. Road full of dirt and leaves in places, very slippery and bumpy.
Its ridiculous to have the just first few drivers in the daylight. I can understand the frustration of the later ones in full darkness.
(Another thing going Ogiers way, as if he needs it.)
Evans 5sec penalty for moving the haybail-chicane on ss1.. Can't remember when such penalty was given for a long time..
