While Italian legend Andreucci’s experience of the Rally di Roma Capitale stages is vast, the Motorsport Italia-run Clio Rally3, which was equipped with MRF Tyres, was an all-new experience for the veteran driver. He therefore spent the event on a development mission.
“It’s a good car but we start the work only on this rally so it’s very new,” said Andreucci, a multiple Italian champion and ERC event winner. “The car is fun, the brake and gearbox are fantastic. The damper and the set-up, we must do the development, adjust some things and also the set-up with the tyre but we improved during the day.”
In Italy we saw another bad performance of the new Renault Clio Rally3 in the ERC. On previous occasions we could blame it on an unexperienced driver (Paulo Soria), but this time it was the famous Paolo Andreucci, who lost nearly 4 minutes to Armstrong. Strange.

Do anyone know the topspeed of the two Rally 3 cars, with highest gearing classed?
There is a lot of topspeed driving in Finland, so here topspeed matters.
Will Toyota use 1 year to make their Rally3 car, or can we expect homologation before that?
