It is not correct info. Dani will not start in Hungary.
Huttunen then?
Cause without Lukyanuk the entry list is starting to look quite empty.
Will Kopecky and Ostberg be there? They were doing Hungarian championship.
But dont worry, entry list will be interesting. And it will be worth to watch ;)
Miko Marczyk (Skoda Fabia Rally2) confirmed.
One week before Rally Hungary Marczyk is going to compete in Rally Kosice in Slovakia (October 16-17). Despite being second in ERC he is also leading Polish championship and it is the last round. He said that Rally Kosice is held just 40 km away from the stages of Rally Hungary, so he will use this rally as a way to prepare for the ERC round.
Looking at the entry list he is the only ERC driver that had this idea:

Řstberg and Gryazin. So might be some nice fight between them.
Mikkelsen needs to defeat Llarena in classification of one leg to secure title, so I doubt he will push on Saturday. Whether there will be some fight with them on Sunday depends on the time difference I guess.
Thats a really nice start list.
To be precise, Mikkelsen will be champion as soon as Saturday night if he beats Llarena in the first leg + he is in the top 5 of the first leg (he needs both conditions).
But I agree globally with you, he will probably take a steady approach in the first leg to secure the title (should be okay looking at Barum and his last year Hungary rally) all the more than he is not planned to do Canarias (but might change as he may clinch WRC-2 title tomorrow) so no big sense to risk everything during the Saturday. And then, he will probably push hard on Sunday.
Except if he is in a logic that he is already champion because let’s tell the truth, it is not really probable (and even possible) that Llarena could score 75 points on the last two rallies, especially with the competition in Hungary and even with his last year Hungary performance.
Is Gryazin in a Toksport Fabia for Hungary?
To try everything he needs to drive the new Hyundai in Monza.
So Gryazin with Polo R5 anyway... :)
Looking forward to the event, going to spectate there for the first time. The stages look great with a lot of variety in it.
Btw. Marczyk won neighbouring Slovak Rally Košice last weekend. Košice is definitely a good test for Nyíregyháza event.
EDIT: Semerád will not start.
Nikolay Gryazin will make his Rally Hungary debut with a special livery dedicated to the people that have helped him the most during the 2021 season.

I agree with Řstberg for once.
The right lane had watersplash mid in their run while the left had it on the final straight, as a result fastest cars all started in left lane. (1-4, 6, 9)
Anyway it's just a 1-1,5s difference max it seems. Not like Azores.
What happened to Solans?
According to rally-base he is out with technical problems :(
High speed off for Ostberg, also a puncture for Turán, Bonato, Scandola and Herzig. engine issue for Mikkelsen at the end of SS3.
Mikkelsen says he is out with engine problems.
That is not often the Skoda engine gives in.
From the description it may not be an engine problem but a throttle one. We'll see, maybe they can fix it.
By the way Pajari and Franceschi were faster than Torn on SS2.
A wire problem for Mikkelsen, so nothing is lost yet. Needs to get through one stage and then the service.
Marczyk just overshot a junction on a helicam. He said he had only FWD. Gryazin was off in high speed. Turán spun. Ostberg very vocal about spectators in very dangerous places. Double puncture for Scandola. Engine issues for Cais. Csomós spun.
Cais & Hadik going well in the Fiesta's this morning, both in the Top 4. Cais having a small car problem but still closest to Gryazin.
Ostberg is such a complain machine. When his car works, then he finds and complains about spectators (says someone is going to be killed, FIA need to cancel the stage?). No other driver even mentions any problems with spectators.
Sorry but that's nonsene what you just wrote.
First of all the crowds in that crazy dangerous place were clearly visible on the streamed footage. Second there were several other drivers complaining, including locals Herzig (who directly adressed the spectators directly in both English and Hungarian asking them to behave carefully), Turán and one another whom I don't remember.
The stage was later stopped and ambulance passed it. I don't know if it was related to some accident with spectators. I hope not.
I am the last one who would normally defend Ostberg, but there were a plenty of spectators standing in highly risky places at the TV stage alone.
Herczig also asked the spectators to behave responsibly in his end of stage interview.
