Why is it old-school? Putting the cabin behind the engine is modern trend in Dakar trucks started by De Rooy's Iveco some two or three years back. The advantage is better weight balance, better aerodynamics and better engine serviceability.

Maybe no De Rooy next year because he doesn't like the route. There will barely be any dunes, which he doesn't like. He's thinking about doing the Africa Eco Race and is talking with Kamaz about it as well.
