Nobody needs super expensive cars useful only on asphalt. Neither the customers nor the manufacturers. FIA shall work on promoting more R2 and R1 among new manufacturers. That's more than enough if they do it properly.

First I think the cost of a small kit with just the essecial applied to the production car would be much cheaper than an R2. Then I think that not even with 4 more models of R2 would grow the lists of subscribers of the world, in my view the R2 only server for national and European.
So then first unofficial result for the 208 R2T(because not homologated yet)in Spain(Rally Comunidad de Madrid): 11th overall with Efren Llarena the european junior champion at the wheels ;)
Difficult to judge the performances/pace though, as there were no Ford Fiesta R2T on the event, only the drivers of the Peugeot Cup Iberica :mark:
Hard to judge without a chance to somehow filter the influence of the driver. For sure it's good but how much? I guess we have to wait for more events.
Top Iberica 208 Cup drivers are pretty fast; P2 Antunes was in Larena’s pace on a couple of U27 ERC events this year.
So is it officially 208 R2T or Rally4
What is real "FIA" name for 2020 ?
