Well if there was 20G impact warning flashing, maybe the impact was that big to alter the geometry of the cage.

Depends on where the hit was, but it's the rear right that's hanging off.
The only roll cage there is usually the rear x-brace tying the rear shock towers together.
If he had an impact so hard that he bent the roll cage through the wheel, the control arm, the shock absorber and spring, through the tower and then bent the cage, that would be absolutely insane.
The wheel is still attached btw. Just at an awkward angle.
what a joke.. yet another random rollcage damage retirement this year..
And again an i20 falling apart for no apparent reason...
Solberg crashes after 2 mins of Shakedown and then retires due to damageon first real stage. Imagine if Loubet did that.....
IMO he really needs someone to coach him when he should take it easy, not sure his parents are the best for that.
EDIT: Maybe experienced codriver like he had in Arctic would help.
When you try to troll at least check first.
As pointed out already 2 days ago after shakedown he was actually running fully "old" version of the car from pre-2019 Finland, at least aero-wise, not the "Loubet hybrid".
But he is definitely not running full factory car like he did in Arctic or Alba.
To be fair, at this stage it is difficult to tell why the suspension failed or even why the roll cage is damaged (or chassis or whatever it is, seen different claims).
The first few pictures of him working on the car, everything looks intact suspension wise.
The second sets of pictures where he's working it looks like the mounting tabs of the rear control arm has been sheared from the car.
