What bothers me is having to write the whole word, as the R would stand for something else…
Btw, congrats to Lopez, Hernandez and Sports&You for another brilliant win in spain.

Most of the people involved in rallysport. When I am discussing with drivers and explaining them that ERC1 Junior is for Rally2 cars, I always must add that it is R5. When I am talking about Rally4, I always must add that it is R2. And when they are asking about R4, I must explain that it is current R4 kit from Oreca and not older R4 from Subaru or Mitsubishi or new Rally4 from Ford or Peugeot...
Fantastic result by the 208 Rally 4(from the BECA Junior championship)on gravel
Rally Terra de Auga: http://www.ewrc-results.com/final/62...-da-auga-2020/
Next week is the Rallye Princesa de Asturias, round of the tarmac championship ;)
This will be also the next round of the Peugeot Cup Iberica(second round, after the cancellation of Rali do Ribeiro), and I guess it will be under the rememberance of Laura Salvo ;(
Interesting development in the spanish rally scene. After introducing the mix surface ‘Supercampeonato’ (S-CER) a couple of years ago, the local ASN decided to promote it as the main rally series in 2021, changing the tarmac championship (CERA) to a ‘cup’ status (the same for the current CERT gravel series). The aim is to be aligned with the international series, allowing young crews to be more competitive in all surfaces ASAP.

Interesting event currently running in Catalunya: the Rally Lloret de Mar ;)

If I understand correctly, the only Spanish Championship is now mixed-surface and counts 14 events... Drivers, teams and manus strongly disagree.

Yep, but final standings are based on 8 events: 5 tarmac + 3 gravel, but I do not have knowledge, whether you can attend all 14 rounds and take best 5+3 results, or you have to choose before (like WRC2/3). Maybe somebody from Spain could clarify. Moreover former Tarmac and Gravel series are now only Spanish Cup (not championship).
EDIT: The table of dates will be made up of thirteen appointments, of which the teams will have to choose ten at the time of their registration to the contest (after payment of 500 euros). Of the eight results to be added at the end of the season, five will be tests on asphalt and the remaining three on gravel.
The event number 14 is show in Madrid. No points but still you have to enter to be in final standings...
