Interesting: For the Circuit of Ireland the Mini will be converted to Regional Rally Car specification to make it eligible for the Intercontinental Challenge category.Quote:

The car can compete against the IRC boys, just he can't score points or get on tv unless Mini register. On Ypres last year, Snijers(?) did the same.
Yes, it was Snijers. He will do also Ypres this year with the Mini.Quote:

Exciting! Is there a cut off date for registration or can Dave take his time?Quote:

I hope it works out, for Snijers it would be great, for McGarrity it's not that important if Meeke would start with the S1.6t then it would be interesting alot for the rally coverage.
Meeke will not compete on the Circuit thats the strong talk about, there was some talk of him doing it in McGeehans mini but more than likely that will be kept in WRC spec and Eugeene Donnelly will drive it in the Irish Tarmac Championship Rally
No Meeke is a real shame. Would have been a good opportunity for Prodrive to have reversed the negative press (and to have promoted the RRC Mini) to support him for this one rally.
