It's days like this where we mustn't forget how invaluable All Live really is, regardless of its faults.
horrible feed past weekend...the black outs, then they have nothing to talk about during the stages, so instead of shutting their mouths and let us enjoy the view and hear co-drivers they talk about the weather and about whatever.....they miss all the action on right time....
i really liked them back in the radios days, i mean Becs and Colin and etc but cant stand them on Alllive at all anymore, and im sayin the same like i said a month ago, we need fresh and new faces there, a new start.
Agreed, and from different countries as well. It's so noticeable when they get a guest commentator, like Østberg previously, Hirvonen this rally etcetera. It is much better to listen to

The constant talking over the car and co-driver is sooo annoying.
No good just moaning on here though... email them and keep emailing til they listen.
WE WANT A PURE SOUND OPTION.
My guess is that in radio days Becs & Colin probably had a lot more freedom in what they could do. With All Live there will be various producers and directors deciding what type of content will be presented, in what manner, by whom. The presenters / commentators we see and hear are part of a much larger production team.
It's the difference of mediums. In radio you need to have lots of colourful commentary to paint a picture in the listeners heads, but with TV you do not need to do it to such extent. Also in TV there's no need to fill every second with at least one syllable.
During Argentina I watched the daily highlights show, something that I hadn't watched for ages, and to be honest, I pretty much skipped to the end while hoping to catch some moments on the way. The "as live" commentary got annoying after some time as when you are watching a highlights or review, you are interested in information to get you back up to date.
Unfortunately, I have a feeling they have loads of work to improve their products. And I'm not even talking about technical side, but the actual produced product.
