According to the iRacing tab on the Versus site, Race Control is now free all '09 season. I haven't used it before but might check it out for LB:

What's Race Control? Is Versus broadcasting the races online like BBC does with F1?

It is free, which is just as well given this mornings warm up coverage which resulted in a zero score. To say it was 'Useless' would be a tad too complimentary ;)
Here's hoping it improves for the race.. heck I guess anything would be an improvement over this mornings silent blank screen :s
Just go to the indycar website & register if you're interested...its on the home page under indycar nation, bottom left of screen.
Why can't the IRL just put up the ***** TV feed to their website and make it available for countries that don't have broadcasts?! Inept *****. I guess they think their international fan base is too big and they want to piss of some people who want to watch their products but can't. Even what they put in Race Control doesn't work. *****.
Wow i can watch Indy Lights races live now! All i gotta do now is figure out how to get the hdmi port on my laptop working and i can watch it on tv!
Watch it guys and girls, you can complain but watch your mouths, this is the first but final warning, changing letters to fool the automated censorship function of the forum will not work, someone does this again and there will be no warning but a sanction.Quote:

I understand that would be a great thing to have, but there are contracts, etc. that go into this sort of thing. As far as Race Control, it might suck, I'll check it out when the race starts.
Ever hear of the word CONTRACT? The IRL is not allowed to put the Versus feed on their website. Versus can do this if they want.Quote:

Well, actually Versus can't either, at least not in countries in which they don't have the rights, so even if Versus decides to upload the feed on the internet, they will have to block all the other countries or else they would have to pay a lot of money to whoever has the rights in other countries plus legal costs.Quote:
