Congrats to Estonian organizers and all local rally fans, starting with forum friends, for being on the WRC! It’ll certainly be a fantastic rally to follow after such a long break.
Fingers crossed for Ypres; it’d be another amazing event on this year extraordinary WRC season.
You are being too optimistic. Without the WRC status, with 3x more spectators it was already around that. Now add WRC, max. 15k spectators and COVID-19 limitations and it will most probably be 100+. Same scenario is already happening with practically all the other (not-cancelled) summer events .
We definitely recommend you to go and experience top level racing! Kulbilohu rallycross track is the end point for WRC @rallyestonia Vellavere stage, so it is a great chance for all rally fans to see, what to excpect!
Last year it was only 18 if you bought it very early.
Obviously different circumstances now, but we'll see.
Even if without foreigners or few foreigners, the rally will be crowded.
Last year in Salou, I saw MYRIADS of Estonians. They were everywhere. I saw hundreds of mothers carrying their babies in the rough fields of Gandeza and other Spanish villages, I saw thousands of estonian vehicles in the national road, I saw them sleeping overnight in the special stages.
They have passion for this and I admire them.
fun fact, in year 2014 estonian rally website motosport.ee posted a april joke that in year 2020 rally estonia will bring WRC championship stage to estonia, sometimes you have to be carful with your jokes
