Cannot understand this promoter at all. Announce a new, novel and interesting product, make it the key feature of your own season launch, but don't have any mention of it anywhere on your website. No 'coming soon', no 'sign up for launch', no more than a news post without a single CTA.
All it did was remind me to cancel my WRC+ subscription (to take advantage of any discount code).
It is always the same, actual promoteur is working like an amateur in some terms...
Why not hold the horses? We’re still a week ahead RMC.
And what you all will see if you want it immediately? Absolutely nothing. It will be out just at the right time..
Maybe people, which are going personally to Monte, will prefer to make everything regarding payment and registration in time? It is easier to make everything without problems from computer at home than fighting with it somewhere in the middle of Alps...
With novadays laptops and smarthphones and bandwith everywhere you go I think that's not problem at all. Except if most of the people here still have old Ericsson's.
Not criticising the service at all, just the promotion of it. From a marketing perspective, 'launching' something when you make no reference to the product anywhere, don't encourage people to sign up.
Don't get me wrong going, I'm really looking forward to the service and I'll sign up the day before MC, but just feel they've missed a chance to make it a wider success and take advantage of the media platform they gave themselves at the Autosport Show.
If anyone came away from that thinking "oh, I want to know when that goes live" or read about it on a site or magazine the days following and thought "I'll check that out", there was no supporting information or anything allowing them to follow up that interest; they're unlikely to get the same media impact when they say "oh, you can sign up now".
I could be wrong, but it surprises me is all.
