I’m sure I heard one of the drivers say that they did! Guess not enough.
I really hope that Spa doesn’t have this same bullshit gravel that is so hard it ends up with a layer of rubber on it.

Never mind the track, at least the times are close with the top guys within a second of each other. No VW-style domination and close racing bodes well for the season.
The second day of the World Rallycross season opener in Abu Dhabi has begun and Oliver Bennett hits the kerbs and rolls his MINI Cooper in the first race of Q3. :(

Huge contact between Timmy Hansen and Andreas Bakkerud at the joker merge! Despite this, Timmy still wins Q3 Race 4, but ends up seventh overall in Q3.

Bakkerud says he thought it was the last lap and it was the finish line they were going for...
No surprise, Bakkerud has been disqualified from Q3 for his incident with Timmy Hansen and will not qualify for the Semi-Finals.
The main problem is this track has an inconsistent finish line, placed on the joker merge. Three other cars in qualifying got mixed up with what lap they were one and went flat out into turn one/finish. A crash waiting to happen.
Plus a bad jump landing and these silly curbs which are causing punctures, suspension failures and the bananas Nitiss flight - this track is simply terrible.
If there was any doubt, it's time for IMG to hand over the reins.
Cant believe Doran is through to the Final after his poor qualifying. Nice move to seal 3rd place in SF1.
Marklund has taken Nittis out twice this weekend. What a joke.
