No, sorry, I don't have any comparisons. I just thoght that if the number of Peugeots R2 is lower than the number of combined sales of Skoda R5 and Ford R5 ( 450 < 500 ), then it is not much. After all, Peugeot 208 R2 was designed as a "cheap" car for young drivers, it was widely promoted by Peugeot Sport, local Peugeot dealers around Europe, there were many cup series in various countries and... at the end of the day... just 450 cars after 7 years on sale...

New 208 looks like it is early in the testphase looked like it needs more work on suspension.
Cool engine sound on the 3 cyl.
Look of car is very nice for a R2.
R2 market has many different makes, Fiesta R2 is used as the entry level car in WRC etc...go figure.
Yes, 7+ those extras. Also i know some situations, local cups to be more exact, where one has dirven a Fiesta R2....level playfield, in order to get an advantage, changed it for a 208. This applied for the previous generations.
