Captain VXR probably has a competitive entry, provided he doesn't crash and can get decent mileage out of it.
Astraracer's Escort would certainly be unassuming, but whether it would be bale to keep up the 100+ mile an hour pace for 3000 miles is rather uncertain. Good luck though.
Schmenke, Gridgirl and Donney, you guys would get pulled over within a few miles of the start, and I doubt those art cars could keep the pace......
CarlMetro's entry would be in pieces before he hit Pennsylvania, because a Thrust SSC doesn't stop worth anything and is not too good at turning corners - or for that matter, getting any sorta gas mileage. :s hock:

Were parts and serviceability not a problem, Bugatti Veyron. It's stupidly fast, which is a plus, and so ugly that cops wouldn't know what to do when it rushes by in a blur. The other choices would be a Ferrari 550 Maranello, BMW M5, or Porsche 911 turbo.
