Any idea when RG 1 is going to be published?
Good thread! Waiting for RG1, as I'm planning an extensive journey to Rally Poland. :)
Locals with good accomodation tips etc, hit me with PM! :)
We're interested in some info too!
Probably going there :)
I'm afraid rally won't be as cheap as people expect... (accommodation, restaurants, etc). Prices are going very high each time before the rally. You already should look for accommodation in Mikolajki or north-east from there as the rally will be held mostly in that area (stages around Gizycko, Suwalki, some in Lithuania, remote service zone in Druskininkai - Lithuania). If you plan to come by plane every airport in Warsaw will be ok (Okecie or Modlin), Gdansk is not bad also, but little bit further.
If you need any more info feel free to PM me.
I'm also very interested!!
These days I'll be searching for accomodation
Hey guys, i know it is still quite a long time before Rally Poland is starting but i would like some more info about it. There is not too much info on the official website. Would some of you Polish members possibly provide some additional info. If you don't want it on the forum, please send me PM. Thanks in advance. ;)
There's already a thread... ;) --> viewtopic.php?f=98&t=160283
Sorry for that one, i did a search on Poland but it didn't show :( , so i started new thread. Maybe some moderator can put it together?Quote:

Neither Rally Tour or Rally Tours is going to Poland...but I cannot find any feedback on these folks. Anyone know them?
Does somebody have a decent website where you can find vacation houses in the area of the rally? As we will be going with a group of 8 to 12 people i would like to rent a house over there. ;)
What's the price of petrol in Poland? Thanks

some more details, itinerary, rally guide 1, etc
Just read that and it seems that there is not possible to use regular fuel. Only FIA fuel...
Is anyone idea how it has been previous years? Is there gas stations during rally route that it is even possible to use regular fuel?
We are planning to compete there and just do some calculations about it. We don't need FIA fuel so regular fuel save's a lot for us if it's possible...
For those who are looking for a accomodation: I spoke with friends from that region and they suggest to search rooms in a cities like a W?gorzewo, Gi?ycko and in a small cities near them. It's gonna be a super fast rally with many jumps :)

For those looking for accommodation organizers set up web site http://rallypoland.travel/
We have an accomodation in Kruklanki, shouldn't be too far from SS2... :D
Schedule and itinerary looks really nice, only small issue is that as we arrive on Tuesday we'll only have one complete recce day. Looking forward!
How about setting up your own tent alongside the stages?
I have never used accommodation facilities in summer rallies such as national events in my own country Latvia or rally Finland. I guess the weather is approximately the same in the rally region. For those who visited the rally back in 2009, how difficult it was to find a campground for your overnight stay?
Usually there was no problem to set your tent somewhere in the field/forest next to the stage.
Does anyone have information concerning these stages, have they been driven before in some competition?
SS4/9 Wieliczki
Lithuanian stages
Saturday's stages
Any idea what is going to be used as a Shakedown stage?
Wieliczki seems to be new stage.
Lithuanian stages maybe were run as part of Druskininkai rally, but I'm not sure, need to check.
Saturday:
- Chmielewo should be similar to "Grabowka" from 2009 - very nice stage!
- Stare Juchy - stage might be similar to "Gawliki" from 2009
- Babki and Goldap - both new stages, Goldap they say should have huge jump.
Shakedown not sure yet. In few past years it was run on super special track, but everybody was very unhappy, so they are looking for different stage.
They will take only 70 entries and it is part of every sub category
so
70
-12 DMack-fiesta
-12 or more JWRC
-3 WRC3 maybe
=43
-10 to 15 WRC2
-13 to 18 WRC
=10 to 20 places left for privateers
Is it enough ?
or will there be more drivers who will make entry?
70 is enough I think...
Are the organisers obliged to take any entry registered for a FIA championship? If so nominated round WRC2 and 3entries plus all WRC must be allowed in. I think you are right Mr P there should still be enough places for all who wish to enterQuote:

I remember Rally Finland 2011 had that positive problem. Eventually 118 crews started the event, but few were not given the chance.Quote:

Hey locals, any info on the shakedown yet? Nothing on the official site...
Havent heard about it yet. Talking about tent, I live ca. 100km from Mikolajki (Olsztyn) and also have a summer house like 50+ from rally, but me and my friends choose tent and sleeping near stages. Why? Well, main reason is that we would have to drive through Mikolajki to get to stages, which for me is worst thing. There will be HUGE traffic jams, so my advice is that u should avoid that area as much as u can ( I know that its rally base but just don't drive thereof u can). And of course we want to fell that rally spirit as much is we can :)
Hi guys!
I'm planning to go to Rally Poland this summer. I'm from Estonia. I already booked a nice hostel/hotel in Oszkinie.
So I have some questions about the rally.
Should I buy the rallypass from the internet? rally's homepage is kinda confusing...Does anyone know if I order the pass from the internet, they will send all the materials from here(estonia). I'd really like to get the maps of the stages to plan the trip already not at the last minute.
Thanks for your help guys!Quote:

Receive an Official Rally Programme with the maps of Special Stages in Points of Sale and entrances to Special Stages on the basis of a voucher

I got info from the Rally Poland Facebook that when you buy online the ticket, you'll get a voucher you need to print out and take with you to the rally ticket sales point where you'll get your ordered kit. Everybody complained on Facebook that 2009 there were really long queues for getting tickets...
So not very good solution but no other options. I have been on Rally Finland more than 20 times as this is close to Estonia and this summer we will go to Rally Poland for a first time. We'll see afterwards was this a good idea or not.
Could anybody please clarify some queastion regarding tickets. Because from the official site is not clear what is the best choice price/quality.
I am going to visit rally with family. So, we are 2 adults and boy 8 years old.
As far as I understand for boy we don't need ticket. Correct?
We are going by car.
What tickets do we need to get to Super Special Stage and have parking for 4 days.
Do we need to buy at least 2 tickets Rally Pass Plus – 4 days 200 PLN
Or it is enough to have one ticket for 200 and one for 150?
Or ticket for 150 doesn't allow to enter SSS at all and we need 2 tickets for 200?
Are there separete tickets for SSS?
Another question about Special Stage Maps.
Why on off site these maps requires special password? When they can be available for spectators?
