Reposer en paix.
A great man lost !!! He did so many good things....
RIP, P'tit Bug. Thought for Béatrice and the girls...
I also wrote the news in the "french rallies championship news" thread...
R.I.P. :(
Horrible news! Exactly 5 years ago, in August 2007, Bugalski went to Romania to drive a C2R2 as the '0' car in Sibiu. I had a very enjoyable interview with Philippe, talking about everyting, from his Polish origins to Marc Amourette and Stohl. He gave me an autograph on my shirt. I'm very sad to know that I won't meet him again... RIP Bug!
That's very sad news :(
RIP Bugalski!
What a sad way to go if you have driven rally for most of your adult Life, and die falling down from a tree. Life is a strange thing sometimes!
thoughts go hos family and friends!
Very sad news. My condolences to all his family and friends.
Rest In Peace.
He is one of the legends of rallies. Rest in Peace Bug we will miss u very much.
Very sad news.
The Citroen team owes him a lot.
R.I.P. Philippe, you were a great person, not only as a rallydriver but also as a human being, always smiling and ready for a good joke, but also serious if it was necessary. What a great loss. My condolences to your family and friends.
Can I ask... does anyone know if he was still aligned with Citroen? Test driver? Promotional?
Bug was often found at stages in full team clothing with stopwatch, radio and notebook, probably doing weather and splits and strategy work for the team. However, I have not been on any wrc rally in 2012 so I can not comment fir this year but certainly he was doing that role last year.Quote:

He was a test driver, he was director of Automeca and make some rallies in zero car. He was still very present in Citroen Racing.
RIP. Some of my earliest memories of rallying involved him at some level. Sad news.
