indy500.com says Mikey returns !!
Color me surprised.
This announcement is no real news. Mikey said last year at one point he would keep running Indy if he thought he could win and not hurt his team. He still has the chops to run Indy....
And we will hear these words "Michael Andretti is slowing down". :laugh:Quote:

I will cheer for Marco as well, but about Michael, respect, this guy is like the Highlander.
I only respect people that respect others and Michael is far from doing that.Quote:

The last Highlander at Indy was Al Unser Sr. in 1987 nothing flashy but he got the job done.
There can be only one.....Quote:

How old is Michael, actually.
Mike is 44
10x. Well, he is quite old.

HE STILL WONT WIN!!!
Call me in the year 2024, and see if you make the same statement :p : ;) :DQuote:

Yeah, but that's his dad. I think Mikey is too worried about who is looking at his new wife. You know how things effect his huge ego, lol.
I hope Marco gets one in the next 2 years. Hopefully he'll be in a F1 car after that.
if Michael Andretti does well in the Indy 500 some people will be eating crow
i hope it is a big fat one with a bad odor lol - go Michael Andretti i know you still have it!
Remote. But then again, TG will do anything to keep his prize in the headlines.
Yea, me too. But I also think the drivers themselves don't want to go on much beyond 40. It was Mike's choice to retire, he could've continued like forever and a day.Quote:

Good to see a legend back of course especially such as Michael. Would be nice to see him finally win BUT he can only continue on so long. Maybe its time to hang the helmet up for good and watch his son race who is the real deal at the moment. He was abit of the pace last year BUT his vast experience in indy car racing over the years helped alot so he is a wild card.
