I want to say Ford Probe, and the Detroit street circuit. Have no idea of the drivers.Quote:

Driven by: Jean-Pierre Frey (CH)/Marty Roth (CDN)/Albert Naon, Jr. (USA)
or Tom Pumpelly (USA)/Ruggero Melgrati (I)/Jack Baldwin (USA)
but did not start Lyn St. James (USA)
klaus ludwig was probably one...
lyn st james was heavily involved with the ford gtp program, but I don't know if I'd call her succesful...
sorry captain 1 wrong drivers...tannat..wrong also.didn't name the track...also no longer the Zackspeed car so it can't be Klaus Ludwig.
The shape of the car is somehow similar. Look al the windshield and arches (?) of the side windows, the line of the bodywork and the rear wing. The car that you can see below is a Zakspeed Ford C100 driven by Klaus Ludwig in the 24 Hours of LeMans (1982), according to a Ford media website.
It also looks similar to this 1983 GTP Mustang:
sorry but not even close.this isn't the zakspeed car...ok another hint...it was run by tom milner in 1988.
Pete Halsmer - the hint was way too generous ;)
track: Columbus, Ohio ?
Ford Zakspeed L4 4v 2100cc Turbo
Okay, for certain this is a #7 Ford Probe GTP on a street circuit.
According to the excellent reference at
http://www.classicscars.com/wspr/res...sa1988.html#12
If the circuit is Miami (don't think so) ther driver combo was Jenner/Pumpelly
If West Palm Beach (don't think so) combo was Wood/Smith
San Antonio #7 used a single driver Wood
Columbus (I think it is this circuit, I was confused earlier) single driver Halsmer
ok here's another one....car is easy but name the drivers and the event and what year.

sorry bud but that's not it. correct driver wrong track and year.
can't be daytona..take note of the direction the car is facing and where the tire wall is. so this can't be daytona.

Hmmmm.... tire wall, so not a street circuit. Not Portland, Watkins Glen, Sebring,
Area looks too clean for Road Atlanta, perhaps this is Sears Point? Lime Rock? Mid Ohio? I've never seen Topeka....
It's great looking at all these old results...
Noticed Jacques Villeneuve was a DNQ with EFR at the 500km of Road America in 1989 :p :
alright...correct with the driver lineup. so now think abit...there are three drivers in this car.so what race do you think it is?
ok here's another for you to think about. should be easier.
Darin Brassfield, Oldsmobile Aurora, ummm Watkins Glen (?), 1995 or 1996 I believe (I didn't cheat on this one :D )
When I'm at my work computer Monday I'll throw some at you
correct..you missed brian cunningham and brian de Vries but that's alright
where and when is this from....what are the cars and drivers?
Is that steve mcqueen in that shot?
I'll be at work in 4 hours and throw one at you.
bout to give baby her bottle..
John Andretti, Lime Rock, 1991.Quote:

Ford Probe again, but I recall this car using a different engine other than the 4 cylider turbo. Perhaps a V-8 turbo?
Looks like Road America. Bobby Rahal was one of the drivers I believe. 1986?
right car...wrong driver and track...correct year though
