According to Motorsport News, Citroen probably won't start on Monte Carlo.
PH...
It seems one of the few fast Greek drivers will be there with an R5....
The only fast greek is Athanassoulas.
Closing entries today....They will be finally 2 Greeks.....One with Skoda Fabia R5 and the other Honda Civic R3
You forget Greek driver Jourdan Serderidis who will start in Monte Carlo as well, with DS3 R5. He's also doing Germany, other than that no WRC events planned.
finally Meeke and Lefebvre at Monte

Special stage maps are available now at the ACM website. (direct link)
The Google Earth Map of Monte Carlo 2016 is now online
http://planetemarcus.com/saison-wrc/...te-carlo-2016/
where can i find the accesses for the special stages???i also looking for a map that shows the whole region with the stages, only in google earth i can find this.i would also like to ask what is going on around the stages with the traffic during the rally!!!!!generally i need all the useful details!!
If you research the 2014 and 2015 editions you will find the answer. For Monte it isn't complicated. Any road that isn't closed to traffic (other than the stage route) can be used for access, provided it is passable in your vehicle. Parking is on the road side and unless you are very early in position for a popular section you may have to walk several km. Between stages traffic is not a probem but the schedule can make timing too tight to stage-hop. Use Googe Earth and streetview to check the viability of a route you have in mind. In 2014 we did a recce after shakedown in order to have confidence we would be ok with the roads we had chosen.
shouldnt be the entry list revealaed today? 29 December 2015 – Publication of the entry list (subject to FIA approval)
nothing on their site at the moment.
On the rally page it's December 29th, while in official documents it's January 8th.
Hi!
First post on the forum. I'll be coming from Portugal.. Any help on where to stay? We're going 5 persons and only need a place to sleep and bath! Any help appreciated!
The best tip I could give you is book (much) earlier, but you can't turn back time now. I book the accommodation for my WRC trips sometimes over half a year in advance, to ensure a good location/price. If you want something cheap and central to the stages I think you are too late (5 months too late that is). The one time I went to Monte Carlo (2014) we stayed in Ancelle, in "Hotel les Autanes", we also decided to go only in december and booked quite late. You may have a chance there as the hotel isn't on booking.com. Other than that I'd recommend you to search for "Chambres d'hotes"/"bed and breakfast" on Google. The best way to find something now is by searching for things that aren't found on booking.com.
Also if you speak French it could be interesting to repeat your question on http://forum-rallye.com/ , maybe someone can help you there.
Clearly the combination of David Evans/Autosport/MN are less sure what Kubica is driving now on the Monte. They've taken him out of the list of confirmed M-Sport Fiestas, listing only Ostberg, Camilli, Tanak, Bertelli, Bouffier and Evans (R5).
The ACM just tweeted out the entry list - https://twitter.com/ACM_Media/status...272897?lang=en
Small writing but you can just about read it. Kubica in a private Fiesta. New co-driver for Elfyn. Lappi there but not in WRC2.
Here is the full list:
http://www.rallylink.it/pdf/2016/iscritti_monte.pdf
15 x WRC
18 x R5
7 x S2000
... nice
M-Sport is listed as a manufacture, so they are doing the full season, contrary to some rumours
Interesting also that Lappi is entered, with the works Team absent from Monte.
My guess is that the car is from BRR, as they are entered with Kremer and outside the works squad probably the No. 1 customer Team.
i dont understand, Citroen arent doing full season and they get numbers 7 and 8? Yesterday it was confirmed that Paddon has number 8 for next season.
Is this something or nothing - Bouffier down as a registered M-Sport 'Team' car. Does that mean that they've committed to 7 rallies then with that extra car? Is that rule still in place? Looks likely we'll see Elfyn in that car on some events if so.
Only two Fiesta R5 (Evans and Tempestini) against 7 Fabia R5.
Lappi obviously entered as a private driver. Bouffier under M Sport banner probably doesn´t mean something, we already had this in the past.
Kubica listed as the Entrant ... not his RK WRT, but not M-Sport either, unlike Bouffier...
Kubica's situations looks really weird
it looks like people involved in RK WRT are doing something else (guys from M-Sport, even his coordinator Rafal Cebula)
M-Sport claims they don't know anything about preparing car for RK
I thnik Monte Carlo may be single event for Kubica
Sure Bouffier receives servicing from M-Sport and has been entered by them a few times. But as far as I can see he's never scored points for them? Because that Monte entry has a 'T' next to it - as in M-Sport have also registered as a WRC Team, in addition to being a manufacturer.
I wonder whether VW will pay for Lappi to do all the events in a Fabia R5 in preparation for 2016?
As somebody else mentioned I suspect Monte is with BRR, as Hänninen's WRC starts were with them when he was a works Skoda driver.
If he turns up on the Mexico entry list then I think that we can possibly make that assumption. For sure if he's going to be in a top WRC car in 2017 he has a lot of gaps to fill in his knowledge.
He didn't get far at all on the only other time he did the Monte. He's never been to Sweden. So a big year to learn, as well as having the pressure of being the WRC2 favourite (again).
