Well, I guess that the old thread is lost to the electronic ages. So, I guess I'll start over for the time being.

Gil...1996...Honda-Reynard.. Mid-Ohio.
that's all strictly from memory but it'll be a starting point!
Yup...Gil for sure, Derrick Walker's team too. One of the nicest paint schemes going for sure.

Well we don't have to worry about if we posted this photo before. Fresh start here need to run the posting back up to over 1000.
Hope we have more players this time.

The photo you posted in the old forum was it.
Driver- Justin Wilson
Year- 2004
Car-Lola B02-Ford
Track- Putnam Park
Just wanted to see if I was right.
Yes, Phoenixent...that is right and is the only reason I was guessing on this photo...to repost the JW one.
Mimmo in a Lola T93/00 in 1994 at Mid Ohio. (only because the blurred number on Jacques' car looks more like a 12 than a 27)
I think Civic got it right.
If he isn't, then I think it is Christian Danner at Road America in a Ford-Lola. 1994.
This new forum is so annoying...I "solved" this right after my reply to Phoenixent, but then the forum crashed or something. Anyway, I thought it was cool because in my research I found out that Mimmo's real name is Domenico...my name.
Civic You are Correct. :up:Quote:

I see what you mean on the car. I do know that Rocketsports car for Nelson that year was from Patrick Racing since the equipment was still marked Patrick at LBGP in 2004.Quote:

Here's a picture of Nelson's car ('04 Laguna Seca).

1999 Laguna Seca Memo Gidley Reynard
Good answer, Civic.
What a nice livery that is.
Thanks Phoenixent. The photo is mine, the website isn't. I lurk more than post but I usually post links to the race pix I shoot, for all of you to see.Quote:

Gary if you look at the body work by the rear wing supports the radius of the corners is larger than those on a Reynard. Then the body work goes straight down on a Reynard not the gentle angle of the Lola. That's how I see the rear end of that car as a Lola.Quote:

Then is it Memo Gidley in 1999? The car clearly shows a #71 sponsored by Herdez. The info I have shows he only drove Reynards. Is it a different driver or different year or is the data on the cars he drove wrong? (if only for 1 race.)
It is Memo at Laguna on the Dark Weekend in 1999. The photo I have is a Lola #71 team car to the #19 both DCR car with Herdez sponsorship. It also says Lola in the 1999-2000 CART Yearbook. Phil Harms list is incorrect easy mistake as Garcia and Vitolo drove #71 Reynards earlier in the year.Quote:

Phoenixent is right.
