Just been looking at the stages again and thinking about going, but the layout really isn't made with spectators in mind. Was thinking of doing Thursday, Friday, Saturday but it's a PITA having to go up north for the Thursday, mid-Wales for the Friday then back north for the Saturday. I know this is a bit personal but I think it would be best to work in one direction and cut down on the road mileage if possible.
Anyway, if I do decide to go what are the stages I should be looking to get to, preferably to see some fast stuff and not be penned in like cattle? Might only do Thursday and Friday, that way I get to see shakedown and qualy, which should mean a good number of passes, and then some proper stuff on the Friday. Problem is that I'll be taking time off work anyway and £66 for 2 day passes is a f***ing lot of money to shell out, especially as I'm unlikely to get more than two chances to see the cars on the Friday. The other option is to just head for Hafren or Myherin and only pay £15 on the gate, risking the remote possibility that they might sell out.
Also is there enough car park space at the shakedown/qualy stage that I'd be able to kip in the car?
