Seb Ogier's inclusion makes a Toyota 1-2-3-4-5 appear a real probability, not just a possibility. With the kind of pace shown by Toyota on the opening rounds this year, I could as well place my pickems now.
Just as well Esapekka Lappi will drive the third Hyundai. He has gone well previously on the Safari; even if the end results don't reveal much. Gus Greensmith must be the overwhelming favourite in Rally2, though Robert Virves will be interesting to watch on his maiden trip to Kenya.

I don't get it either. He was/is one their best drivers, have so much success with their cars and it's the place he should be. He feels comfortable in Skoda.

Last ,,big'' rally was 2024 Japan with Hyundai wrc and and 2023 Japan with Skoda..
And now they bring him in to fight against Toyotas..
The route for the event is pretty compact. Good thing they have removed the excessively difficult fesh-fesh sections.
But I'm sad to see the head-to-head Kasarani stage go. It was always a good watch.
