We know that Abarth are doing quite big changes for 09.
What about the other brands, are they updating their cars ?
Especially in the light of the latest FIA decision on WRC future, based on S2000, will that have an impact already in 09 ?

Are Peugeot reckoning that the 207 will stay at the top also for 09, or are they upgrading something ?
For sure they homologate new parts once per year as allowed.
But what is the competitors doing ?
My brand is doing quite a bit to catch up to the leader of the pack, I hope it works.
So I take it they are not doing anything, and bet on that they are still best ?Quote:

All I know is that Sarrazin and a Peugeot engineer both are confident the 207 is very strong again but expressed little worries about Skoda pace(and in the opposite weren't impressed by Abarth)... ;)
Yes, of course.Quote:

Watching the test videos, the new Abarth looks very similar to the old model. I thought it might have a new 'attitude' with the xtrac transmission like the Skoda does but maybe that is just down to the engine.
