Yesssssss, Loeb won!!! Congra to him and the whole team. Again, he showed who the master is!! Without no shadow of a doubt....
About this rally: as it showed, this new cars are not so realible as they were on Sweden. There are still many details to work on. Sorry for Ogier. Anyway, Mikko again in his style, no attack, yust crusing, as we said, this is no way to be a champion. I expected more from him.
So, still a beautiful day for Citroen fans!!
See you in Portugal.
Another 1,2,3 like it was in Mexico? :-P Well, seems that Citroen is fast but car still has a lot of small problems. So, incidents are very likely to happen.
Well, if you compare Citroen and Ford speed in Mexico and this year, then it looks quite promising for Portugal :-)
well 1-2-3 is going to be easy...1-2 guaranteed....maybe latvala will fight with Solberg, but in portugal he crashes quite a lot.
Speed and driving wise Ogier and Loeb are unbeatable with the citroen....of course people can cry and protest and wish for accidents but as everything in life those who are trully great in the end they manage to come on top 99% of the time.
Unofficial Results:
1) Loeb [Citroen] 3:53:17,0
2) Hirvonen [Ford] +1:38,4
3) Latvala [Ford] +2:23,9
4) Solberg, P. [Citroen] +7:18,4
5) Ostberg [Ford] +8:43,5
6) Solberg, H. [Ford] +9:50,0
7) Villagra [Ford] +48:17,2
8) Block [Ford] +1:04:04,7
Since this has never been a great rally for the Fords,
I think will have to wait till Portugal to see.
Mikko drowe wisely not flashy. No point to
push in any case. If he has the speed
why show it here. Now he can suprise us all in Portugal.
If he doesn't have the speed then this was a great result
for a slow driver.
It was very promising to win the power stage,
but as the drivers usually say:
We'll see
