In 1976 in the entry list of Rajd Polski there was a certain crew from France: Bombenger / F. Fleck - Porsche 911 gr.4. They did not start the rally but I would like to know their first names. Anybody can help me?

In Peter Higham's Guide to International Motor Racing. I only have the first edition (1994). Maybe someone has a later edition and can have a look whether he corrected that date or not. Since apparently there's no other source for the 1941 date I'm prepared to delete it in favour of the 1942 date.

If I don't discover any problems with the 'new' page I'll make it the standard one.

If there's no other source than Wikipedia for the 1942 Colin Bond birthdate, I don't mind to let the 1941 one stand for now. All mentions of 1941 on the web could come from the same source, and we don't know if that's a reliable source or not.

He is referred to as Widnes rally star Fin McCaul in an article I found. Widnes is a town in Cheshire, England. But I've also seen him listed as being Irish in results. Maybe someone knows him personally?

Fin McCaul is originally from Northern Ireland but now lives in England. Competes under an Irish licence and is current Diesel Cup champion BRC.

c4, thanks for the info about Fin McCaul. As he's originally an Ulsterman I'll leave him under Great Britain.

I've changed Frank Meagher's nationality to Irish by the way, I found he's from Co. Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland.

Forum member LazioCenturion has already done a lot of work on the 2007 WRC rounds that now finally can be added, and he's done IRC results of 2007 as well. So that's something I'm going to work on. And because of the login issues I've had, there's several months of mail backlog to go through with questions, corrections and additions by users...

Technically, he must have a current address of some sort in the Irish Republic to hold an Irish licence (as Eddie Irvine did).
