I couldn't help it... I had to go to Ouninpohja, Mutasen mutka to be exact. The place is over the crest short downhill and 90 left. Up to Petter, all the guys bumped brakes there on that short downhill. What did Petter and Loeb? They came sideways óver the crest and the whole downhill and as they reached the 90 degree turn, they were already in position to go straight... Yet another tenth of seconds there on that short travel. Latvala also took that turn with caution. Mikko had some pace there but took it very clean way. I also watched the powerstage there but the location I was spectating wasn't anything special.
Congrats Sebastien and Daniel. They had a good start with lead and they just pushed the necessary amount of speed they needed. Loeb is such a gentleman he said that he had to take risks but personally I don't believe it. I believe he had the control all the time and pushed just to keep the gap safe. This year ti was clear after day one that either one of Mikko ja Jari-Matti was not a challenge enough :mark:
I'm very happy about Lappi but I won't jump up and down anymore here on the forum as I noticed the cheering will turn against him :s
Is it safe to say but was this year's NORF a little lame ?? If it wasn't Mikko there wasn't much of fights except S2000.
It requires very special skills to do that, what a scene. The little things on each corner that make all the difference at the end...Quote:

Very, very impressive - just compare his times to that of Ogiers............Quote:

Very brave effort from Breen. I hope we see much more of him.
Great showing by Lappi. Yes, NOT is correct. Most countries would boast a number of drivers who could hold their own in equal machinery on their home track. But that ought not detract from what was a very specatcular and talented effort and deriding comments are not warranted. Let's hope we see more of him too.
SWRC is now wide open. This'll be where the interest lies in the remaining few rounds surely.
