Apparently at Ford they hadn´t even thought about the chance of using tactics in the last stage, whether to slow down or to go full attack, which is again unbelievable stuff from Malcolm´s kitchen. Citroen holds down Ogier twice to get Loeb a couple of extra points whereas Ford doesn´t even realise they could get one more freebie point for Mikko. Either you play the tactical game 100% or just better leave it once and for all.

I can't believe Malcolm didn't think about it.. Can he really be that stupid..? And what about the others in the team? They had like 2 days to ponder over this. Or is he's just too soft at heart to order double tactic by JML, for potentially 1 extra point. ?

..or maybe they reckoned Latvala would beat Loebs time and hence take the point from that side.

Giraudet didnt seem so happy, maybe they should have interviewed him after the accident too, I dont think he would have blamed the pacenotes!

It looks like this was a problem during the recce. From what I understood Novikov wanted the corner to be flat on the notes and Giraudet advised him not too and in the the crash it seems that he was blaming Novikov for not listening to him.

Maybe the best roads in the championship.

An easily forgoten rally....boring since stage 2 and with team orders from both teams at the end....

meh...
