I believe edv has ruled out Asia, Americas & Europe.

My extensive knowledge of funnyculars tells me I should rule out Antartica as well.

So how about Nigeria for a great mining/tourist destination?

I'm thinking the one in the Blue Mountains just west of Sydney which would make Daniel right on the money if this is correct.

Indeed! It is the Katoomba Funicular...which is quite a scary ride.

Toss up between Daniel and Cossie....I vote Cossie gets it with the correct location.
