Surprise of the rally so far: Brynildsen! Fifth fastest on this stage.
Mads would have been very close to Hirvonen/Latvala without having the brakelights and snowdust from Loeb in his sights through the whole stage...

hmmm...i think he is going to be ale to climb up to 8th - 7th sohe is going to have 2-3 cars infront...not that bad.

Can Solberg finish ahead of Loeb by the end of the rally ?? what do you reckon ??

What I'm liking about the WRC this year is the speed of some of the '2nd class'. Novikov, Ostberg, Tanak, even Brynildsen, Delecour and Campana in their specific rallies have challenged for the top 3 times. This hasn't happened for ages and it's nice to see.

in you case ages must mean a few months then.... because occasional suprises always happened in the sport.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with Ketomaa? It can't be (just) the tires, as Brynildsen seems to have no problems with them - plus this is his first WRCar rally...so what is it? I know Jari hasn't driven a lot of rallies lately but come on, losing to even some gentleman drivers...it can't be just rust...maybe he just sucks on snow...

Or...the car has some major set-up problems...has he given any indication that this might be the case?

So, experts, what gives?

Without issues Petter wil easily stay ahead. On speed alone he was around 18s slower today and with a worse road position. From now on Loeb will have a worse road position so it should be easy.

i think the tyres give no confidence so all fun is lost...he just wants to finish and go home.
