Hermann Gassner jr (Mitsubishi) leads Lausitz Rallye after first day. He is 10 seconds faster than Mark Wallenwein (Subaru).
Kuzaj and Kahle did not start the event.
Bruno Magalhães leads Rally Mortágua (Portuguese championship) by 31,7 seconds in just 2 stages, championship leader Vitor Pascoal is second and Bernardo Sousa in a EVO IX is 4th!!!!

Miguel Fuster crash out in SS5 when he was leading.
hermann gassner junior is the new german rallye champion!!! nice fight between semerad jr. wallenwein jr. and gassner jr. martin semrad was on stage 8 to fast over a jump and hit an sand wall and lost his first place!! it was very bad weather bad no snow!! the wrc cars dont start in the international rallye, they only drive 6stages lausitz cup! the german motorsport club hatt the start of vehicles prohibited! the drivers are very angry. kuzaj, kahle and vierima dont start! kuipers jr and sr, van eldik and korda start for test!!! very bad for the wrc drivers and the fans around the special stages!!!

Easy win for champion Darko Peljhan (Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX), nice fight between Jani Trček (Lancer EVO IX) and Uroš Petrič (Impreza STi N11) for the second place (of the race and in the championship), but the driver of the race was Alex Humar (Citroen C2 R2 Max). He drove like crazy!!! :eek:

P.S.: News for our CZ friends: we have one Ford Fiesta ST with young Tomaš Kašparek as a driver and your world champion Jan Tomanek as a codriver. Unfortunatly they withdrawn early in the race because techical problems (half shalf of M-Sport was not strong enought :( )
