Looks good, spreading over 7 months with 8 events (4 Asphalt & 4 Gravel), and 3 events (Cyprus, Spa & San Remo) as back-up.
Azores
Perhaps the new Rally3 class could shake up the ERC support categories in the future so drivers progress from Rally4 cars to Rally3 and winner of the Rally 3 category could win a programme in a Rally2 car the following year. It always seemed a bit incongruous to me that the prize for winning ERC3 junior was virtually the same as winning ERC1 Junior.
As Rally3 cars should be cheaper to run that Rally2, perhaps the prize for winning the Rally4 Championship could even stretch to a full season in a Rally3?
Gran Canaria will be final rally, Rally Spa to be cancelled soon acc. to rallye magazin de .
A good idea for an article, but are those calculations correct? In the first picture the maximum number of points for Solberg is 139. But if he wins Canarias he can score 30 + 5 + 5 = 40 points. So in total he can have 89 + 40 = 129 and not 139 points.
ERC point-scoring system is explained below. It seems too difficult for journalists ;)

Aaaa, dont tell me this. I was trying whole day today (interrupted by questions of competitors) calculate possibilities for all championships. And now I have problems to understand what I have made (and problem is not with the system of points, but with possible combinations)...
So 27 point difference right now.
That should under normal circumstances be too much, but you never know - all is possible!
Even Munster can become champion, with 33 point less than Luky before the last rally.
Lets hope for an exiting final!
Spa Rally officially cancelled..

FIA ERC 2020 set for Rally Islas Canarias finale
https://www.fiaerc.com/fia-erc-2020-...narias-finale/
So Rally Islas Canarias will be the Grand Finale of ERC 2020. We should see many battles, because, as far as I know, none of the champions is known, in any category:
The battle is on for:
European Champion:
-----------------------
Alexey Lukyanuk vs Oliver Solberg
ERC2:
-------
Tibor Erdi vs Zelindo Melegari vs Andrea Mabellini
ERC3:
-------
Ken Torn vs Josep Bassas
ERC1 Junior:
--------------
Gregoire Munster vs Oliver Solberg
ERC3 Junior:
--------------
Ken Torn vs Josep Bassas
ERC Teams:
-------------
Rallye Team Spain (Llarena and Bassas)
vs
Sainteloc Junior Team (Lukyanuk and Griebel)
vs
Estonian Autosport Junior Team (Ken Torn)
According to Dirtfish, Torn is the ERC3 Junior Champion:
https://dirtfish.com/rally/erc/ercs-...mpression=true
Ken Torn is champion in ERC3 and ERC3 Junior. And teams championship is only between Rallye Team Spain and Sainteloc Junior Team. Both teams has nominated maximum number of drivers for Canarias - three.
Chris Ingram news tonight on ERC The Stage.
He stated he now has funding/ sponsorship in place and plans to compete in 'international rallying' in 2021.
Where he will compete will be decided by 'those who will put him in the car', presumably his team, Toksport. Sounds like it will be WRC2 or back in ERC.
He also said he has a test in a Fabia R5 in Germany next week. Then goes to Canarias to test the Clio Rally5 for the first time.
I am bit confused. After Spa Rally cancellation only 4 out of 5 events are counted for all categories? For ERC1/3 Juniors is 4, but rest has 5...
OK, so overriding rule is X-1. Thank you!
Well done to Eurosport Events on assembling a decent calendar under the circumstances, and with some very good entry lists. Hopefully next year is more ‘normal’
It seems that despite Bassas' disqualification it is Rallye Team Spain who wins Teams Championship:

Almost every car can win a rally in ERC... except for Hyundai:
ERC 2019:
------------
Skoda Fabia - 4 wins
Citroen C3 - 2 wins
Volkswagen Polo GTI - 2 wins
Ford Fiesta - 0 wins
Hyundai i20 - 0 wins
ERC 2020:
------------
Citroen C3 - 2
Volkswagen Polo GTI - 1
Skoda Fabia - 1
Ford Fiesta - 1
Hyundai i20 - 0
ERC have uploaded event reviews for all events bar Hungary and a season review to Youtube (presume these are the programmes which go out on Eurosport)

ICA has acepted the appeal from MRF of Liepaja, so Lindholm is back clasified in the event:
