According WRC Live Mikkelsen without 2nd gear.
seems like this is going to be a Neuville vs Ogier... unless toyota fixes Tanaks car for tomorrow where the stages are quite long.
Mikkelsen stopped
Another mechanical retirement for Mikkelsen. He must feel devastating...
we will see, he struggled also last year on friday but was way fastest on saturday and he already said today that the tomorrow stages suit the car better.
i dont get why he is struggling so much this afternoon. if he loses another 10 secs with next two stages then it is indeed over for him for the win.
Suninen started well... go Teemu !
what the hell happened to Breen in the end ?
Go-go Mr. Suninen
Nice Teemu, great time!
No issues with the Fiesta here. Real shame Evans couldnt have had another good rally.
the fiestas indeed going very strong in the afternoon and toyotas struggling even more. Hyundai (neuville) the same and Citroen, well....
problem for Ogier?
Julian Porter was straight on that issue.
nice, Tänak holding the gap luckily
3rd technical retirement for Mikkelsen out of 7 rallies this year. Must have gotten last years Sordo car.
Lets see if Tanak can make harder lifes for Neuville and Ogier tomorrow.
Ok - thanks for baling NOT out of having to be intelligent for once.
Let me answer my own question. Some spin because they are driving too fast for their skill level, or they have crap notes, or they can’t adjust to less than ideal conditions. In a team where one driver consistently suffers technical problems that others do not you have to question the degree of mechanical sympathy that driver possesses.
Paddon must go to Citroen and make a restart to his career, he seems so lost in Hyundai and it doesnt seem to get better and FOR ME, it seems he doesnt get enough support from the team, participating only on half the rallies says something already
yes, but he is on the same place with Hyundai?
E: ok he has messed with his tyre choice today and thats the main reason
but what would be the solution then? they were able to make it suit for Mikkelsen since last rally
Well, Mikkelsen led RACC after day 1 also, been leadin in AUS and performed well even more. Now the car broke...go figure.
I believe it was Neuville who did the majority of tetsing and whose wishes were more preferred.
Paddon and Hyundai (NZ) links are too strong and they have a good market there.
He won with them before so its not impossible. But IMO he isnt the same driver since 2017.
What happen to Veiby again on SS8? +56sec
lets see... the difference is not big enough and both drivers cannot afford a retirement... Its going to be interesting tomorrow unless something happens on the last stage
That damn delay again
Neuville? what happenen there?
Tänak fastest in splits, where did that come from now
crazy splits... Ogier slower while he was 6 up ?
