I do not think Lassie will get away with it... GO PADDON !!! GO HYUNDAI !!!
Let's hope Paddon wins, he'd deserve it for all the work he's been putting in for a long time now. As far as Latvala goes... nothing new, he'll always be the same. Problem is that as long as Ogier (and some others) is here, he's not consistently fast or consistent enough at all.
so 29,8 sec for 55,28 kms. What do you think guys?
gonna be intresting for once anyhow...
have we got any photo, from Latvalas off?
Latvala did it again. Well my pickems prove, that I predicted something like this...
so if my calculations are right Paddon will be second in the championship with 54 points?
Latvalas attempt to turn a Polo WRC into an old design Opel corsa.
Not quite, he never got the opportunity to compete in Europe until the final year of his life, He was loyal to Subaru and they had a couple of real hot shots doing the business in Europe during those years. Had there been something like the Pirelli championship that brought Mark Tapper and Hayden to the European side of the WRC scene in earlier years then I am quite confident that you would have seen a number of top line Kiwi drivers over there as young competitors, Possum included.
I will not comment Latvala because as a fan I could regret my words right now. Let's hope Paddon wins this and keep improving througout the season...
im not commenting Latvala either...Paddon will win it for sure, he deserves it so much, i didnt expect him to be so fast at this rally
However comments if you weren´t there is worthless. No one but the guys in the car knows what happened and what caused the off. Until then no comments needed.
Hayden Paddon @HaydenPaddon
Wow what a day, 3 stage wins and leading the rally by 30sec to @SebOgier going into the final day. Big push tomorrow
Go Paddon! All of little old NZ is behind you!
Latvala's comment by rally-base.com: "The plan tomorrow? To go home. I have fought hard all weekend. Sometimes it's hard for people to see that. It's been too long with this disadvantage."
He is right about the fighting, but is he saying he wants to quit?
I hope Paddon wins, he sure deserves it. However I think Ogier will give him a run for his money, he hasn't won this rally before and you could hear in his words that troubles him a little bit, and he knows there is no proper contender to fight with him for the title so he may aswell go for ir.
