All down to getting in a good rhythm as no splits in the car... not easy for Meeke to judge his pace.
Latvala 27:46.8 "I had one moment, I hit a bank and had a turn into the grass. I was very lucky, but i lost the rhythm."
Pitty, Sordo lost some time at the end. No more tires left maybe?
No the question is: how much will Meeke loose? He will have to improve if he wants to win this!
Meeke now in a Citroen team battle with Ostberg... could be interesting how they treat this ...
27.45.4
I fear Matton would order to take the positions after this.
Now 32 secs over Ostberg.
Meeke - I was really cautious in here, this is the most difficult stage of the rally. It's difficult to confirm anything.
+/-100km of stage to go.
time for Citroen to issue team orders now, would be stupid to let this go out of hand.

It Meeke playing it canny (sensible on difficult SS8, pedal down from now on)?
Hehe...
So teamorders from a most consious teamleader would be that the guy in the queue should take most of the points and the guy up in front (at least in Citroen) should be happy.
That´s not what I know about teamorders. However, as much as you do, I like Meeke to win. But in teamorders Ostberg should win.
Ostberg is no good for humanity.
Meeke should win.
Citroen must know they cant win either Championship, so they should just let them compete for the win. And with the rally being so rough nothing is predictable anyway.
The only reason that Ostberg is ahead of Meeke on points is because he is picking up the pieces when drivers ahead of him retire . He is always consistently slower in every rally ,at least Meeke gives it ago - im not saying hes brilliant and he does bin it from time to time .
Citroen will order Ostberg to keep the position. If Ostberg would have been the first then they would have ordered Meeke to hold second.
Meeke was the last car to leave service (on WRC map, just left). Any problems for him or he was just enjoing the city?
Tyre info: everybody going two up for 2nd pass of SS9 and SS10:
Citroën/Ford/Sordo/Paddon: 6 Michelin LTX Force S4
Neuville: 4S4 + 2H4
Volkswagen: 3S4 + 2H4
There is no reason Matton to move around the pawns over the board, the championship can have only 1 winner so far - Ogier.
Not sure how team orders will help Citroen finish 1-2. Nobody has splits in their car, and it's not like the Citroens have a 4 minute lead over their closest competitors. They both have to keep pushing IMO.
