Let's hope it doesn't come to cancellation, how bad it is?

Like the competitors, we spent Monday and Tuesday visiting the stages that will feature on the first three days of the 2015 Rallye Monte Carlo. We found 15km of snow on SS10 and we were unable to reach the Col de Fontbelle mountain pass on SS12. This has the makings of being an exceptional Monte Carlo!

No, they cant use the same type as in Jänner.
The Monte-tyres is wider and not so good in winterconditions, but better if there are changes in the surface(some tarmac and some ice/snow) on a stage.
Any news about that maybe cancelled stage.
It was on my plans...
@jiipee64 The last news of this morning at 9 h 00 from ACM confirms stage 12 Sisteron-Thoard is not cancelled. The road was cleaned during the night.
I don't think that will be some changes from '14 except Monte. At Monte Ogier will moaning something like that: "Loeb don't participate at whole season so I concentrate on 2nd place and good points" :D
BTW: Delecour and Dumas have different cars Cup Porsche with 3.8L (450hp) and 4.0L(480hp). I know that at Monte it means nothing but still wonder why not at same cars.
Hi everybody!
I've been following this forum for many years already, and now I decided to go to my first Rallye Monte Carlo this year. I planned to do either SS1 or 2 on Thursday, SS5/8 on Friday, SS9 and SS12 on Saturday and Col de Turini on Sunday. As I don't know the area very well and as I'll only arrive tomorrow afternoon, any help regarding good spots to spectate would be very much appreciated!

Looks like a simple off:

Two off's now for Loeb... one in testing, one on recce. This wont do his confidence any good.
And remember this is how his last WRC rally ended...

In my opinion the key sentence is the second one.
I understand that FIA decides in every single case what restrictor such car must use based on some power estimation/measurement under some conditions. That is kind of bizarre regulation because You can't really control exact power value after the passport is granted. In case the resulting power is circa same it's still questionable if it's better to have bigger volume of the engine.Quote:
All the air necessary for feeding the engine must pass
through this restrictor, which must respect the following:
- The power of all cars is restricted according to a minimum
power/weight ratio of 3.4 kg/hp (4.6kg/kw) in all
international rallies. The FIA shall, at all times and under
all circumstances, take all the measures necessary for the
enforcement of this power restriction.
- The diameter of the restrictors is established by the FIA
and must be mentioned in the FIA/R-GT Technical
Passport.
Me too starting to have doubts if Loeb will finish this rally :D

You are right, 2008 RGB. Jez, some a-holes about Twitter although from a usually reliable feed. Sure, many retweet but somebody made the mistake/acting stupid at some stage. Thanks for the heads up.
