Fire in left rear - fire crew extinguishing....car covered in foam says Clark...Neuville asks for extra
FRI 19:44 - SS9: MORE FLAMES
The heat coming from the rear brakes of Neuville's car is immense and every now and then the flames flare up again. It's not looking so good for Thierry at the moment.

Neuville: "Problem was handbrake...little locking in the stage...very hot...the brakes are disconnected now and we can go safely back"
Fuchs: "He [Kruuda] roll over and he's out of the road...I think he is OK..."
If you would know the situation in Lithuania's Motorsport federation you wouldn't be surprised that they choose these "world rally level roads". I could write a book about Lithuania's Motorsport federation fails and it would be the best seller among motorsport fans all over the world.
Hirvonen after SS9 "It was better now, we manage to correct the notes but still slow so we are just not fast enough..."
No sh1t Mikko !
Sun will be down so no repeat of this at the SSS later ...

And how can the rally be called Rally Poland if some of the stages are in Lithuania?
Same as rally SWEDEN having stages in Norway.
Way too much slowmo's indeed!
guys dont forget that borl=michelin and this site-videos wants to show their tyres, how they cope with gravel/rocks/asphalt/snow/mud,thats why they focus at wheels with slow motion.
Even that in mind they have way better videos from the bunch of amateurs.
Some live streaming SSS10?
that slowmo of østberg at 0.48 is really sweet shot, however!
that is rally, pushing like hell:)
Tonight has been a nice break from the WC football and the non-stop Suarez chat ...

So what are the thoughts on the roads for tomorrow? Is it an advantage to be near the front of the starting order, or will the roads not cut up as much?
SS11 Henning Solberg has damage to front of Fiesta on opening stage...no apparent leaks
TYRE NEWS Paddon/Hänninen/VW/Østberg 6 soft Michelin Latitude Cross. Ford/Meeke/Neuville 5 softs
Neuville commented: "but it will get more and more difficult for the others"
What does this comment mean? Are roads cutting up again badly, this is different area from yesterday?
Ostberg on attack-mode
Where is everybody?
