I think damaged rollcage in Fiesta of Kajetanowicz, so that's why no superrally tomorrow for him...
A good 1-minute video from the first day can also be found here:

That certainly looks like a boring rally :D Thanks for that!

Harrach said for autosport.cz after SS6:
This is what rules say:Quote:
Fourth stage wasn't very good for us as we lost a lot because of studs. We removed them on the road section, it was a lot of work but it worthed it. We made a really good time on the last stages so that our confidence grew a lot.
It's not the first time with Harrach on Jänner but somehow he always gets away with that.Quote:
60.7 HAND CUTTING
The intentional modification of the design of the tyre or the number of studs on the tyres on or in the car is strictly forbidden.
PS Please note that the quotation of Harrach is my own translation of Czech text as I don't have the original available in the moment. Source: http://www.autosport.cz/clanek.php?cl=15956
Maybe he just reved up engine and lost that way all the studs ;)

Well, this is from the official Commentary Feed from fiaerc.com...
Nevertheless, I like the guy. His onboards with Evo IX R4 on tarmac are incredible (and that's an understatement).Quote:

Pulled as many studs out of the tyres as he could before starting the stage
The tyre rules where changed just for this rally on Friday.
Tyre rules regarding homologation were changed, not rules regarding the 60.7.Quote:

To my understanding, 60.7 still applies (it has not been repealed).
As Juha said, not this rule.Quote:

This is the rule that is almost impossible to control. You can always remove studs with heavy braking and accelerating on tarmac or gravel road. So, who says he took it out manually? Who says he was not joking;-) It is very difficult to follow. Therefore, I find that this rule must be delated and it will be equal for everyone.
You are right but at least he should have not spoken like that...
Anyway in this short highlight video You can find big moments of Aigner and Tarabus: http://www.fiaerc.com/videogallery/deta ... A-END-LEG1

Why does Kubica have No#1 on side of car? Who will have 1 at next ERC round?
I think that seeding is still up to organizers in the ERC as there are no driver registrations. There are only FIA priorities which say who must be seeded in the first group. Starting order is than done according to the qualification stage.
This was issued after Harrach´s interview on SS6: http://www.jaennerrallye.at/fileadmin/u ... m%2004.pdf
Baumschlager seems to have given up the fight for the moment (and complaining about technical issues and tyres) - seems like a replay of last year, where he also was fighting for top on the first day, on the second day he fell back, maybe thinking about scoring points for Austrian championship. But the rally is still very long and anything can happen - and "Mundl" is an old fox.
EDIT: Harrach already smelling Tarabus´s exhaust fumes after SS 12 ... just 4,6 sec left between these two.
Pech back in the lead!
Jump start for Kubica... Fight might be over...
Sure not ;) SS17/18 Bad Zell is really hard, long and crazy fast stage where everything may change (like it did in the past).
Pushkar didn't roll his car, he just hit one stone while he lost control on the famous hairpins at the end of stage 1.I was there personally....and a lot of other drivers were cought by the ice on this part of the stage.Quote:

If both drivers keep their speed of the first three stages today, I´d agree. Pech has got the advantage of knowing the roads very well too - he won already 3 times here ...Quote:

His Mini is also much more entertaining to watch and to listen to than the Fiesta RRC.
Is Pech pretty much the only person left using a Mini with any success?
Luis Monzon is Spain has success too.
As I few minutes ago wrote down-I was yesterday watching in live (SS1/4 and 7) and first shock was how slippery it was in the morning. Everything coverd by the ice, almost impossible to walk....Second shock came as how many spectators were there already on the first stage...Later in the day ice melted.
I must say I'm very surprised over Kubica's pace, with his limited knowledge&experience on this tricky conditions....what a driver !!
And yes, nobody can say that a dry Jänner is boring. I enjoyed it every single second. Plus, it is much easier for spectators....
In the start (until 2012) he also suffered from many technical problems with his Mini. Very hard technical work by his team together with Prodrive in autumn 2012 brought a change.Quote:

I didn't catch what Kajto said after the impact, only his co-driver. Maybe our Polish friends can tell us?
Heavy impact !Quote:

According to Pluto Odlo˛ilķk today suffered problems with stuck throttle too.
Baumschlager said yesterday that he had no softest Pirelli tyres available but only harder ones.
he said also about alternator problems for yesterday. This depents how big the problem was may occur to power loss.Quote:
