Judging by those videos they'd be better off cancelling the game and pushing it back a few more months til they've got the sounds and graphics sorted. Can't believe that they've spent time developing all those extra modes, they clearly aren't going to match DiRT for sales, so why try to create the same product? The stages look good, but judging from the ABC thing they will still only have a handful of layouts.Quote:

do you work for them or what? dust particles are the LEAST important thing!Quote:

In that case, Milestone will succeed what it seems to...
BUT!! Graphics are a big part for making the game "real" but the absolutly biggest part in no1 is physics/REAL sound. Without that, the game/sim is nothing!!!
The only ones who will be playing it without these things are arcade-fan and I hope that Milestone understand that they really need the real rallyfans who love the true sport of rallying and those needs realism, true realism = sim like RBR look alike. BUT in these days the RBR game would not survive either... The game must have some content like the new WRC 3 and that is not a problem for me. Only they have a true sim career.
They need to fix real sound and if Dirt 3 almost can make it and the OLD rbr CAN do it with fans all over the world, then Milestone can do it. Its not hard. Thats make me angry! Physics like in RBR colud Milestone also fix if they want it. I ät dosent need to be exactly like RBR but WRC and WRC 2 physics is a BIG joke! A 7 year old boy can like it but a person who can drive a car hate it! If they dont like true arcade???
Please Milestone, you guyes is on the edge to make something really big here. Do not trow this away!!
Personally I give WRC 3 one chans and possibly WRC 4 but if nothing happends then im out. Sadly I think that many people just gives this game one chans to succeed! If you dont care about the sound and the physics now, you will loose thousends of fans based on the two terrible games in this series!!
I will wait to judge this game 100% till its out but im sadly being worried! Based on the last videos, road to glory!
But it seems like Milestone still working on the game and thats great! Keep it up!
Please don't forget: Comments go along with info/pics/videos are my personal opinion only ;)
Now, who's tried the PS3 demo? We need all the feedback we can get!

Physics are improved, so are the graphics, BUT the car sounds are exactly the same, at least for the DS3 WRC..... Aren't they including the new sounds anyway?
So, this Is the very first comment! Thanks for sharing It Benniz ;)
Glad to hear physics/graphics are Improved (as expected). A bit frustrated, regarding the sounds comment...
Has anyone understood how you can alter the car setup? I can't seem to alter anything, just view the settings.
I have asked them on their Facebook page about the car sounds, but I don't expect they will reply...
Couldn't demo be fully functional, regarding cars set up settings?Quote:

* There is a somewhat strange feeling to the handbrake. At first it doesn't seem to react, before the car suddenly flicks around and the car counter-steers a couple of times.
* The grass on the inside of the corners is a bit sticky and slows the car down in an unatural way.
* The replays look better, and the car model looks more well proportioned. However, they have included an ugly and unrealistic field of view effect for the exterior replay cameras.
* The co-driver sound is OK. A big upgrade from WRC 1 and 2, but still a bit robotlike.
* The engine sounds are still a dissaster, let's hope they are better for the full version, because I can hear no difference between the demo and WRC 2.
* The physics are actually pretty good. It's easy to start attacking when driving, but the car still has a strang kind of grip both on gravel and tarmac which is hard to explain.
* The dust effects are alright.
Now to test the career mode!
UPDATE:
* The Ford Fiesta WRC has a new car sound, but I wouldn't say it has improved much. It's still very "metallic", just like the DS3.
Thanks for the comments! Very good! Keep it comming, its intresting to read! I will play it tonight!
Can you please keep me update regarding the sounds, I dont have facebook!
In Playstation forum, Milestone sad that the sound IS changed!!! Strange!!!
I see the developers answer Pino earlier at the link LCD publised earlier today saying that the sounds have been changed, I can't say I see that too much.
Bennizw: If thats true, about the sound, and I think that you Have right! Then its sooooo ****ING sad!! How hard can it be to do that small but big thing right!!! Its unbeliveble!!
I hope they fix that for the realise!!
But if you talk about the game and rallyfeeling, is it much better then WRC 2?! Is it a good and life like feeling when you drive a stage??
Is it more like a sim now then tWRC and WRC 2 who was crap!
How is the realism??
Let's hope they fix it. I have never driven a WRC car myslef before (Sadly), but judging from the experience I have from sitting in the co-drivers seat in a WRC and Group N car, I would say there is still a far way to go to be able to call the game a sim. They handling is more predictable in WRC 3 than 2, and will probably be even better when we can alter car settings. There are more spectators in the stages than the previous games, but I still think the stage build is very unrealistic in comparison to real life stages. Luckily the stages in the demo are much more narrow than in the past games, but there is still a way to go with the topology and resemblance of real stages.
