Hit a pole and had to change a puncture, but the car jack went down every time they pumped it up.
Bad luck to Andreas but the coverage was great. I enjoyed the smaller picture for the interviews so they did not have to cut away from the cars still running on stage.
Good coverage, I still think it wont do them harm to put 1 or 2 cameras along the stage.
first live SS stage inIRC for a while, and they mis the leader of the rally going off and having to change wheel?
nice to have a Mini in the lead
I also missed cameras along the stage, but we were lucky to see the helicopter's images. The ones of the cars through the town were the best.
Some great shots from the helicopter (finally) and what amazing scenery and roads. Driving heaven !
Shame we lost the fight for the win now with Mikkelsen's off :(
Another superb run from Breen though :)
They have never used ground cameras except start and finish with the only exception being Col de Turini.Quote:

Nothing unexpected. You cant drive over the limit all the time and rely on incredible luck to finish. Thats why yesterday I said dont hurry to make conclusions from one or two stages.
Tell Latvala :)Quote:

I expect Breen to climb 9th overall after the three coming stages in the afternoon ;)
I would wish more :D but ahead is Mikkelsen and the fast top5... :mark:

ss6 live.Lets see how fast Mikkelsen can climb.
Eurosport used more ground cameras than the Turini's one. At least in some edition at St Bonnet's stage (before the bridge of the mid stage, in the wood) and last year, when we saw the cars going up Col du Gaudissart.Quote:

Plus I think they used some in Scotland too two years back, however it's nicer to have coverage than no cover at all so thanks to Eurosport.
After the Ireland crash and the lucky result there, is he the new Loeb who is almost always lucky?Quote:

Loeb's career has nothing to do with luck, he just is that good. And who knows, maybe Andreas will be his successor performance wise. We will see next year when he is driving VW?Quote:

This is very dangerous kind of accident. Not only for the crew but also for spectators if they stand under the power lines. I remember there was a deadly accident of that type in Dutch championship when Gert Huzink crashed into an electric pole and the electricity killed a another driver who was there spectating...
Live coverage is awesome!
Watching on Eurosport there were people sitting in chairs under an umbrella right by the road,
this was just a few 100m after this place !
Crazy.
I believe but we are not allowed watching TV at work :(Quote:

We've lost a great fight against Basso and Andreas.

Fløene explains off
“It was one corner in the pacenotes out of many, many corners that we were a tiny bit too fast,” said Fløene. “It’s very sad because we were steady, driving well with no mistakes but this is the IRC and things like this normally can happen. This rally is longer than normal IRC rallies so I think we can catch back some time, make some places and maybe get some good points. That’s one thing we can do now.”
