If NOT was referring to my comments about the difference in the cars for Ketomaa, than you completely misunderstood my intention, what I meant was only to try and enlighten the difference between factory cars and customer cars. Same differences applies for as well Novikov, Kresta, Block, Östberg etc. Though the M-sport cars have more upgrades than the completely privateer cars.Quote:

Jeesus Christ din finska är ju jävligt bra, kunde nästan tro att du är finne... tai jotain sellaista.
Some complements are in order! ;)
Eiii helvetti! jag sade "tack google'' för deras översättare, pga jag kan bara läsa ytterst liten finska.Quote:

I think we had enough of Finnish talk in an international forum.... if you want to say something about the event please do it in English for the benefit of everyone, otherwise PM eachother.
What about Rally Finland? A Finn will win :D
Most of it was swedish :mark:Quote:

8€ from Neste Oil stations, 10€ in other shops
VM (vauhdin maailma) is only in Finnish language this year
both have same fails:
car 32 Craig Breen co driver Paul Nagle´s neme is missing
car 53 Riku Tahko is not driving Fiesta S2000, he is in MINI WRC
car 98 Joonas Lindroos C2-R2 not in entrylist
it doesn't make much difference in the end... does it ?Quote:

Tuulilasi, it has lot more info for getting in stages (ie SS3: VM tells you how to get start and finish and Tuulilasi has 7 different places to see the stage)Quote:

Yeah but it is in Finland thread, so why not write in one of the 2 official languages there? I have made some efforts at reading Pork-and cheese when I knew a bunch of crazy rally guys from the Azores and one guy from Mozambique, but it was hard. Those guys said Brasilian was even harder because so much slang, and so many diphthongs... Keeping this a little to WRC Finland is Nobre coming? Does he, or has he done any events in Brasil or nearby like Argentina?Quote:

Yep, for N.O.T.'s happiness :-), Nobre will be present in Finland (it's his 2nd time in Finland, btw), as well as he's supposed to run all WRC events this year.Quote:

Good that there are more WRC drivers, but he`ll be happy if he can keep up with the S2000 cars or even Gr.N cars...Quote:

Bit of a late call but I'm thinking about going by myself, does anyone happen to know of a place to stay in Jyväskylä city? Alkio Opisto is still free close to the end of Leustu but would be nice to stay somewhere else for a change.
Anything in rumour of Henning in Mini?
Dear rally friends,
I will have a second chance to attend the great rally Finland which will take place this year.
From my first visit in 2007 I had great experience and moments. Especially the great car jumps in Ouninpohja, Velipohja!!!
Our group of people is coming from Bulgaria in the evening of 30th July and we are going to stay close to Jamsa, cottage in Himos.
I will let you know my plan for watching the rally by segments. I will appreciate if you can answer the questions I have. We would like to watch jumps and fast-driving segments as much as we can. I spent many nights in searching in Google maps and other websites, watching clips, so I made the following schedule:
01.08. Shakedown
I chose two jumps one after another, which are situated in a long distance before the finale.
02.08. SS 1 –Can you please advise me a place where we can watch fast racers? In some of the articles on the web I watched an amateur clip with a regular car, but I didn’t see any jumps on that segment. Is that right?
I would be happy if you advice me where to watch SS3, as it is a new one and we are interested in it.
03.08
1. SS4 Urria – the chosen place is a car jump close to Orrati lake.
My question is the following: Can you reach that segment with a car from road Hakamaentie, which is separating from road 23?
Or can I go from road Uriantie east, where it intersects with the segment, but from that point to the car-jump place is around 3 km, isn’t it too far?
2. SS7-10 Palsankyla – the chosen place is the car-jump segment close to Iso Pohjoislampi lake. We can enter to the segment from road Pilkakoskentie.
Or we can enter from Aholantie, where in my opinion is closer to the car jump.
Since there will be too many people and cars, do you, guys, think that we can go from SS4 to SS7 in time? My plan is to watchWRC and S2000 at SS4.
3. SSS – do you think we will manage to reach it after SS10?
04.08.
1. SS 14 Leustu – Jump Novikov, is situated on road Hirvimaentie. Since SS will be on the opposite direction, do you think that there will be a jump on that opposite side?
2. SS Ouninpohja –jump Yellow house !
Maybe there is incorrect information and some mistkaes in all that I mentioned above but after all it is in theory. Probably many of the questions I asked you about would have their answers after I arrive there and buy the schedule (parking lots, how to reach the segments and etc.)
Thank you in advance to all of you for your comments and pieces of advice!
Best rally regards,
Zdravko
Sebastian Lindholm is driving Tamrazov's WRC.
original idea was drive with S2000, but Oleksei Tamrazov said that it is same for him which car he drives in NORF.
So, WRC for Basti and S2000 for Oleksei

Mads Östbergs car was in Printsport Lievestuore this morning.
probably testing somewhere near Laukaa today.

SS14 Leustu. There will be a jump but it's marked red to the notes. Don't expect anyone jump like Novikov did few years back :D
SS Ouninpohja. I strongly suggest to avoid the yellow house jump. There will be about a million spectators there at the jump and in worst case you won't be able to see nothing from there. Remember, the first ones will spend a night there and they won't give up their spot easily. Don't worry though, there are plenty of good... no, great spectating points at Ouninpohja. Just try to get there way before the stage start and find yourself a good one :)
Some rumours of Lappi ;-)
