PG and Sääv got the SWRC-wildcards from the organiser, so they can score points. Mikkelsen can not.

Somone who knows the stages - is there other spectacular jump in the route out of the colin's crest?
I'm not sure to be able to see all the stages before the start and would be helpfull to hav some info

I'm not sure I understand the question, but Colin's crest _is_ a spectacular jump on the Vargåsen stage.

Thanks swordsman. Out of the well known Colin's crest is there an other jump which coud be good to see? I saw one video from a jump on Bjelverud but this stage will not run this year

And let me have other questions - is there frozen lake stage this year?

There are more jumps on the Vargåsen stage before the cars reach Colin's Crest, along the Älgtjärn and Jangen lakes.

And there are three jumps in a row in the middle of the Fredriksberg stage.

And they will create a jump close to the finish of the last stage, Värmullsåsen.

These are the best ones I have seen or heard of on this year's rally stages.

This was on stage "Hagors" 2008. This year the stage is called "Värmullsåsen", short after the start.

Ostberg could definately do some damage to the top 8 in a Focus. Would be nice to see him in a proven rally winning package.

Dream scenario would be for him to do Sweden in a Focus followed by SWRC in a Fabia/Fiesta. Hopefully these rumours have some factual basis.

The footages of Loeb are awesome. I especially like the twisty part in middle of part 1. Does any local hero knows if the road north from Sågfallet is open and plowed this year? If so, it will be possible to come close to the signal post R91 in the middle of that twisty section.

That was a very nice part.. And almost no spectators.. Probably everyone is at colin`s crest hehe..

The road from Sågfallet will probably not be plowed since there will be no spectator area or officials there, but I can check this closer to the rally. But it is only 3,0 km from the Sätterbäcken spectator area(R92), so it's possible to walk there in half an hour.

I heard it from one spectator on the Rallytest in Hadeland yesterday, but i checked the rumour with one in adapta, and they have not decided yet if they will use s12b or s14 in sweden.

There are no Focus 08 available from M-sport says my source in adapta.

Strange conditions just one degree or so under zero and some kind of mixed snow/freezing rain just a little north of Karlstad. My friend there told me he got a centimeter of ice covering the car this morning, so I guess it's perfect for covering the stages with a little more icy stuff. Forecast says similar weather tomorrow, then it will go colder bit by bit and next week around -12 degrees. Since earlier, there is some snow but not enormous amounts. However, should be good enough to run a solid snow rally. :) So... Looks good, so far. This weeks weather (best would be some rain showers) and then cold and hopefully more snow would make up perfect conditions.

Cool. I wonder who's Fabia Hanninen is driving?

I think the S2000 class will be much more competitive than the WRC class. Hanninen had it easy in Finland last year but it should be a fight this time!

Wow! 58 entries now. And very good drivers have been added. Skodas entry in Sweden is just Hanninen´s own interest on Skodas bigger plan? I really expected that Tänak finds funds for Sweden as well and I was little bit disappointed when I didn't found him from the list. Now I am over the moon :-)
now we have very good entry in WRC, SWRC and PWRC as well!
Tänak does the first snow rally already this weekend in Southern-Estonia
