What is going on with Toksport? No drivers confirmed yet and Gus appears to be with Raceseven all year (but still with Skoda support)
Well done to the Rossel family for the first round of the 2025 WRC2 :bounce:
I would think this: a) Skoda cumulating resources for 2027 reg push - it should be a good investment, possibly even secretly aiming to WRC class, thus, no support from Skoda - we can call it regroup; b) general impact on massive EV investments by Skoda and VW group vs slower than expected demand has led to budget cuts and cut in Skoda support.
As far as I know Gryazin will not be the `officialŽ Toksport/Skoda driver in the 2025 WRC2 season - due to the political pressure - and currently doesn`t have the plan for the rest of the season. Things got complicated when everything was already agreed upon.
"I am delighted to announce that together with Jakko Viilo we will be running full WRC2 program with Toksport WRT, which is supported by Škoda Motorsport, starting from Rally Portugal.
However, the plan for the whole year is to compete even more, so definitely it's a busy year ahead us!"
