I just glanced at some of the various practice session times. And while I realize that most of the AA cars have had issues, I see some sessions where Kanaan and Marco looked pretty decent. But I haven't noticed any sessions where Danica was doing much. If Kanaan hadn't crashed, I'm guessing that he would have qualified rather well. But other than John Andretti, Danica seemed to consistently be the slowest of the Andretti drivers in the sessions I looked at.

I understand what you're saying. But it still seems like she's the weakest kitten in a relatively weak litter this year. Several were saying how Ryan Hunter-Reay would struggle on ovals... same with Simona. But they both outqualified the supposed "oval ace", Danica. Can't do road courses. Can't do ovals. Maybe drag racing is next? :D

That was a pretty good qualifying session though. And seeing Danica bite the pillow made it that much more entertaining. :s mokin:

well, I would agree that she's not the "oval-meister" that she likes to think she is. She's a decent oval driver, at least when she gets a pretty good car. In this case, she got a not very good car, and skillwise/setupwise simply did not have the ability to improve it.

Bruno has been confirmed for tomorrow in car #33 for FAZZT!

Wow, what a bump day. I was so worried about TK making it in. This poor guy just has bad luck at this track.

I was also very impressed with Bruno Junqueira to come out with a car that had only 6 laps under it and qualify so good.

I also like how Alex Lloyd talked around the obvious when being asked about Milka's car and how good it was. I know he wanted to say, its not the car, its the driver. It was a classy interview by Alex for sure.

Im just so happy Milka isnt in it. Much safer out there now.

I guess one of the positives I got out of this latest Indy 500 qualification is the series seems stronger, somewhat. It looks like there may be no more room for the Milka's and Dr. Jack's of open wheel at Indy.
