That episode was classic though how Clarkson just hamered that Toyota Pickup through those boulders of snow :D
Just seen this on C4 teletext "Fears are growing that James May and Richard Hammond may quit Top Gear as they have not signed new contracts.
It's reported that their current BBC deals run out at the end of July and they are holding out for salaries more in line with Jeremy who has just signed a lucrative contract.
A source told MediaGuardian.co.uk "There's talk that there could be a break up of the team."
Why aren't there more complaints about sleeping and driving too? It's only fair.
To be honest I think that this series so far has not been as good as before, so don't know how much longer they can do it for. Would be a shame to see them part company but May and Hammond don't make the program - Clarkson does. If he wasn't there, there wouldn't be the program. Simple.
They'll get the extra cash (and sign to make more individual shows like the toy one May made) and it'll blow over.
It's a non-story, as usual, just to get the show extra media space.
What an annoying bunch of idiots. Wrecking two perfectly good Alfa's for no good reason at all..... Makes the last 2 episodes look great.
Lol. They were far from perfectly good.
That GTV was very nice and the 75 was fine until Clarkson started crashing into things with it. The Spyder was a pile of crap though.Quote:

For once I have found TG a very helpful program as, thanks to it's educational content, I am no longer thinking of trying to pick up an Alfa for under a £1000 (I had actually given it some thought :uhoh:
