What a nice surprise Campedelli!
Finished second yesterday in his first outing with BRC and ahaed of Basso and Andreaucci!
Campedelli is running Gas Fiesta while Basso is going with normal Fiesta.
Scandola is first, always fast in Adriatico rally. He nedeed it.
Andreucci I think is just cruising the event in order to get valuable points. I have to say I didn't expect him so cautious.
There are more surprises in this rally. After SS9 Denis Colombini moves to third position, in front of both Andreucci and Basso. Scandola still leads, Campedelli still second.

Andreucci was opening the road yesterday and he’s probably doing the same today. CIR rules takes independent leg results but leg 2 running order is the same of leg 1.
Still, nice job from Scandola and Campedeli yesterday (Basso was on the fight for 2nd but lost time on last ss (puncture?)). Colombini big surprise: yesterday 5th, today leading!

Amazing! Scandola took on the last stage by 1.1s. Great job from top 3 crews.
Does Basso drive a "normal" Fiesta R5 this year and only Campedelli a gas driven?
Yes, according to local rally sites GPL car for Campedelli and petrol car for Basso on this event (both runned by BRC team).

Grande Umberto Scandola! Won both events, he showed again his speed, I think he will be first favourite on gravel stages around San Marino. Also very good race for Denis Colombini and Simone Cempedelli. Both "veterans" Basso and Andreucci couldn't cope with their younger rivals.
By the way-no technical troubles for all five crews. That is good to hear.
Did Ucci have problems or have the other drivers/manufacturers caught up?
I'm used to him winning always and now he's down the order....
Somebody said he had to clean the road for both days due to the strange Italian rules.
Sorry if You feel offended but I didn't want to search all the posts back to find who was it.
Weird Italian points system...
Hope Ucci is back to his usual self next rally! Considering his performance in Sardegna wrc 2 last year he should really have no problems even when road cleaning in the domestic championship... Or am I underestimating the level of Italian national rallying?
I was checking results from Ronde del Ticino and saw the winner -Kevin Gilardoni.
I've never heard of this guy, it must be his first drive with WRC and already a victory. He was faster than some gentelman WRC drivers (like Felice Re), so now I am wondering if WRC is so simple to drive that a guy with some talent (and a lot's of €€€, of course) can be so fast in first attempt??
Felice Re has to be the best name ever... "Happy King"
San Marino (gravel rally) entry list (C.I.R):

Short one, but very strong competition with R5 cars......
The weather looks very fine-sunny and hot.
Might be a bit early but has anyone heard about any star driver entries for Rally Legend yet? Trying to put a trip together this year.
Nb.19 on the San Marino entry list : Albert Von Thurn und Taxis. Some royal blood at this event....nice to afford yourself a switch from circuit racing to rallying....

Basso leading ,Ucci 14 sec behind at 5th position

Ucci out in SS3 Anyone knows the reason?
