Each manufacturer must nominate twp links of three rallies, and one link of two rallies, in which thew will use the same transmission and the same spare parts (subframes, steering racks, turbochargers).

Official info: "Ott Tanak restarted under Rally 2 rules following his exit on Saturday’s closing test and finished ninth on the road behind London 2012 Olympics bronze medallist Nasser Al-Attiyah, who was fourth fastest on the Power Stage on his WRC comeback with the Qatar World Rally Team. However, the Estonian was withdrawn from the event to enable the fitting of key linked components for the next asphalt event in France."

thanks,i know about the 2-3 rallies they have to use same transmission etc,but cant understant what they gain with withdraw.

Of course he does. In fact everybody does that, the brain sends electrical impulses to the neurons of their arms and legs and controls them. The difference probably is how different drivers uses it! :D Probably Elena meant something like that :D Here in Bulgaria we have a synonym for brain, which might translate to english like "consciousness".

Or they want to put "magnufacturer" parts after his good tarmac performance??
