Today (friday) were run allready seven stages in Exotic Green Rally in the Netherlands, with this result sofar:

1. Van Eldik
2. Van Merksteijn Jr at 11"
3. Ten Brinke at 29"
4. Temmink at 53"
5. Turnbull at 1'28"
6. Van Hoof at 1'28"
7. Schilt at 1'34
8. De Koning at 1'58

Jasper Van den Heuvel retired on first SS due to technical problems. Also Graham Coffey retired after 3th stage. :(

Exotic Green rally is finished with these final results:

1. Van Eldik
2. Ten Brinke at 2'19"
3. Temmink at 4'03"
4. Van Hoof at 4'06"
5. Schilt at 5'14"
6. Huzink at 6'53"
7. Leemans at 7'22"
8. De Koning at 8'00"

Van Merksteijn Jr retired on stage 21, when he was in big fight with Van Eldik for victory, being only 4 sec behind the leader. :(

I only planned Saturday morning to drive to Etten Leur without any planning.
My first visit over there, but I was able to find some nice spots

Thank you for the information Micke, even though it's bad news. If I understand it correctly, under the link you posted, they say that the now dead spectator was standing in a prohibited area. If that is true I can only say one thing - some people are digging their graves themselves.

Do you know if the rally was stopped after the accident? My friend from Poland was going to spectate this event...

Very sad news :(

Jarek: Rally continued, hovewer some crews retired. Ott Tänak won infront of Salur and Kaur. Aava was 7th and 1st 2WD.

Yes, it is a round for the German Championship and also for the national championship of Luxembourg.

Yes, Ott Tänak has been unbeatable this year. We are all hoping for a good result in Finland this year. Two WRC cars did not finish sadly, former Markko Märtin's factory car had electrical problems as usual :s mokin:

Absolutely. Burkart drove the past years this rally too and was faster than Ogier last year.

Burkart lost time due to wrong tyre choice. Otherwiese he could have been 4th or ever 3rd

It was tyre gambling and Thiry did everything right as he said. Gassner jr. and Corazza got offs loosing many time, Gassner sr. lost the engine. But anyway, good job from Bruno even he was excluded after technical re-investigation.

Maybe already posted here before....

What to do if you have more stages to go with not enough tires in the rally car. Ask the team to hide some and go pick them up, unfortunately there is camera around... this happened in Spanish Gravel Championship round last month...
