If you had a microphone shoved in your face, literally seconds after performing your fairly difficult job at the maximum of your power, at a time when you're probably still mentally processing the last 10, 20 or 30 kilometers of driving one of the most sophisticated racing vehicles that have ever existed trying to figure out what you need to do to go even faster, and asked the same banal questions 200 times a year in your second language... Or was it all "stage was ok, car was ok, time was ok"... granted he wasn't rude, but it's as much of a jerk thing to give banal response after banal response for 11 years of a professional career in which you're mostly winning by a long way, as it is to be grumpy when you're fighting hard.
I still love Loeb, and I don't judge him for that. For me, the whole concept of the stage-end interview (at least by the sport's own tame 'journalists') is a complete and utter waste of time.

Sorry to stray momentarily off-topic (it's becoming a theme of this thread), but...
I think those two points would probably make things a bit more interesting. But since the crews seem to spend an age waiting for their arrival time around a kilometre or two before the start of each stage, why not interview them there? They're relatively much more composed, have no excuse to set off up the road after a quick "for me is ok", and are much more likely to give an insightful comment than some bland nothingness of half-thought-out grunt.
For every hilarious Ostberg/Ogier moan about Pirelli, there's a million "stage was ok, car was ok, time was ok" and it's rubbish.
